The RoleAs a Sr Principal Solution Consultant, you will collaborate closely with sales teams to lead consultative discovery sessions, craft visionary solutions, and design strategies tailored to customer needs. Your deep understanding of the Polymers, Specialty Chemicals, and Power Generation industries coupled with 's Advanced Control, Optimization, Engineering, Asset Performance Management, and Data Fabric product portfolios and value-enablers will drive opportunities that deliver significant business value to our customers and .
In this customer-facing role, you will leverage your exceptional business, industry, and technical expertise to position solutions effectively.Your Impact

• Leading and executing the technical qualification of solutions to a business outcome.
• Understanding the the Polymers, Specialty Chemicals, and Power Generation markets globally, staying abreast of developments in the industry and customer base.
• Learning the complete product portfolio, to identify and apply products to solve real customer business challenges, including the value of solving those challenges.
• Developing the messaging and materials necessary to position solutions in the the Polymers, Specialty Chemicals, and Power Generation industries – making adaptations for regional or market differences.
• Accompanying the Sales Team to meet with customers to articulate the broader vision for in the Polymers, Specialty Chemicals, and Power Generation, as needed.
• Demonstrating how delivers significant value to the Polymers, Specialty Chemicals, and Power Generation markets, through a program of solutions.
• Engaging the Senior Executive Level of customer organizations to paint the vision of how can be a partner in their Digitalization journey.
• Developing industry-specific solutions, aligning technology with measurable business value.
• Providing market input to the Product Management Teams to improve solution adoption in the the Polymers, Specialty Chemicals, and Power Generation markets.
• Identifying and leading sales campaigns to improve reach in the Polymers, Specialty Chemicals, and Power Generation markets to improve pipeline and awareness.
• Training & educating Sales Account Managers and Solution Consultants on how to best engage the Polymers, Specialty Chemicals, and Power Generation customers, in their specific regions.
• Present solutions at major trade-shows and events, globally.

What You'll Need

·10+ years of experience in the Polymers, Specialty Chemicals, and Power Generation industries selling software solutions.

·Engineering Degree preferred.

·Experienced in all aspects of the Polymers, Specialty Chemicals, and Power Generation industries, best practices and processes.

·Proficiency in one or several Solution areas, particularly Advanced Control and Optimization, Asset Performance Management, Data Historian & Fabric, and Engineering.

·Knowledge of AI/ML solutions and their application in solutions and industry

·Strong ability to bridge technology and business, articulating high-level technical solutions and their differentiated value.

·Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills based on stakeholder interactions and data insights.

·Strong drive to convert opportunities into recognized value for customers.

·Travel up to 35%.
