Role Description The Reporter role at Urtasker is a full-time, on-site position based in Jhelum. The Reporter will research, gather, and verify information related to Urtasker’s services, clients, and industry trends, and produce clear, accurate news stories and reports. Daily tasks include conducting interviews, attending relevant events or meetings, developing story ideas, and creating written and multimedia content for internal and external channels. The role involves collaborating with marketing and brand teams to align coverage with company objectives, meeting deadlines, and adhering to editorial standards and ethical guidelines. The Reporter is expected to maintain a strong awareness of e-commerce, digital marketing, and marketplace platforms to ensure informed and timely reporting. Qualifications • Candidates should possess strong Reporting and News Writing skills, with the ability to research, verify facts, and produce clear, accurate stories. • Candidates should possess effective Communication and Writing skills, including interviewing, storytelling, and adapting tone for different audiences. • Candidates should possess basic Multimedia skills, such as working with images, video, or audio to complement written content. • Candidates should possess attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Candidates should possess familiarity with e-commerce platforms and digital marketing concepts; experience with Amazon, Walmart, or TikTok Shop is an advantage. • Candidates should possess proficiency in English, with strong grammar and editing capabilities; knowledge of additional languages is a plus. • Candidates should possess a relevant educational background in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. • Candidates should possess a commitment to ethical reporting, professional conduct, and collaborative teamwork in an on-site environment.
