Role Description The Reporter role at SAHARA-Awami Financial (Private) Limited is a full-time, on-site position based in Rawalpindi. The Reporter will gather information from internal teams, customers, partners, and market sources to produce clear, accurate reports, articles, and news-style content about company activities and the broader fintech and lending environment. Day-to-day tasks include researching topics, conducting interviews, verifying facts, and writing news pieces, features, and internal updates aligned with organizational objectives. The role involves creating multimedia-ready content for digital platforms, collaborating with communication and marketing teams, and maintaining editorial standards and timelines. The Reporter is expected to stay current with industry developments and present complex information in accessible, engaging formats. Qualifications • Strong reporting and news writing skills to gather, verify, and present information accurately. • Excellent communication and writing abilities to produce clear, concise, and engaging content. • Experience with multimedia formats (e.g., basic photo, video, or audio content) for digital publication. • Ability to research, analyze, and summarize financial, business, or technology topics. • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field preferred. • Familiarity with digital media platforms and basic content management tools. • Strong attention to detail, ethical reporting practices, and commitment to accuracy. • Capacity to work on-site in Rawalpindi, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams. • Knowledge of Pakistan’s fintech and lending landscape, or willingness to learn quickly, is an advantage.
