Network Engineer

A leading integrator of IT, Network, Security, and Telecommunication services, is seeking an experienced and passionate Network Support Engineer to join their team. This role in full time and based in Athens.

key responsibilities • Vendor Escalation: Escalate complex, unresolved issues to the respective hardware/software manufacturers. • Client Follow-up: Maintain ownership of issues and follow up with clients diligently until normal operations are fully restored. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with colleagues from other technology sectors for collaborative troubleshooting whenever required. • Field Support Coordination: Work closely with field engineers to coordinate and guide on-site actions. • Documentation: Thoroughly document any network changes, modifications, and system updates. • Level 2 Technical Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for corporate client networking and data center infrastructures.

experience Proven experience in a similar network support role.

qualifications • University degree preferably in Information Technology, or a related field. • Hands-on experience working on IP Networking projects. • Strong customer-centric mindset with developed customer service skills. • Advanced ability to diagnose, analyze, and resolve complex technical problems. • A Valid CCNA or CCNP Routing & Switching certification will be considered as a strong asset. • Proven experience in a similar network support role. • Strong decision-making abilities and a collaborative team spirit.
