Job Description

• Responsible for budgeting, performance monitoring and the Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) framework across the organization.

• Coordinating with business units for budget preparation and forecasting, conducting financial analysis to support strategic decisions, Internal Control documentation and providing insights to senior management on financial trends and variances.

• Develop the annual budgeting and forecasting process in collaboration with relevant departments

• Responsible for developing financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and evaluation of various business scenarios.

• Monitor actual performance against budgets and forecasts; analyse variances and recommend corrective measures

• Prepare and present monthly and quarterly management reports, highlighting key financial indicators and performance metrics

• Develop and maintain dynamic dashboards to provide visibility into financial KPIs, trends, and variances

• Assist in the preparation of the company’s five-year business plan

• Oversee the implementation and conclusion of the Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) program, ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and control standards

• Coordinate with departmental heads and control owners for effective execution, documentation, and reporting of ICFR activities

• Identify and address control gaps or deficiencies; support management in developing and executing remediation plans

• Ensure continuous monitoring and effectiveness of ICFR controls, with proper record-keeping and issuance of Long Form Report

Eligibility:

Qualification:

• Professional certifications such as CA, ACCA, CFA, or ICMA (completed or at the final stage of qualification) will be preferred.

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline from an HEC-recognized university.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience within a financial institution

• Hands-on experience in budgeting, performance monitoring, strategic planning, and scenario analysis

• Strong grasp of accounting principles with practical experience in ICFR frameworks; exposure to compliance functions will be considered an added advantage
