Location: Hospitals and Clinics across Al AinLicense Requirement: Valid Healthcare Assistant License Shift Pattern: Rotational Morning and Evening ShiftsDays Off: 2 days per week (subject to shift schedules and operational requirements)Main Purpose of the RoleTo support licensed clinical staff in delivering high-quality patient care within regulatory guidelines, while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and excellent service standards.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide basic patient care and support under the supervision of licensed healthcare professionals.Assist patients with daily activities, mobility, and comfort measures.Support patient safety initiatives and participate in intentional rounding.Uphold and advocate for patient rights and dignity at all times.Maintain and monitor Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD) items and equipment within the unit.Assist with administrative and clerical tasks to ensure smooth daily unit operations.Adhere to infection prevention, quality, and safety standards.Participate in ongoing training, education, and competency development activities. Education RequirementsDiploma in Healthcare Assistance or equivalent qualification.Experience RequirementsExperience in an inpatient hospital or outpatient (OPD) setting as a Healthcare Assistant is preferred.Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.UAE healthcare experience would be advantageous.Required Skills and KnowledgeStrong communication and interpersonal skills.Client service orientation and patient-centered approach.Knowledge of CSSD basic functions.Understanding of manual handling and ergonomic principles.Advanced computer literacy.Functional numerical literacy.Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.Working ConditionsHospital Settings: 9-hour rotational shifts.Clinic Settings: Similar rotational shifts; clinics are closed on Fridays.Weekly offs may vary based on shift schedules and operational requirements and may not always fall on fixed days.
