Position: Bilingual Danish STEM Expert (PhD) — AI Safety
Type:Contract
Compensation:$61–$65/hour
Location:Remote
Role Responsibilities
- Write expert-level prompts in Danish across specialized scientific topics.
- Evaluate and annotate model responses for scientific accuracy, helpfulness, and appropriate handling of sensitive content.
- Apply structured guidelines to classify prompts and conversations.
- Ensure AI model safety by leveraging your scientific expertise in Danish technical topics.
- Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- PhD in chemistry, biology, or a closely related field.
- Native or near-native fluency in Danish and business-level written English.
- Deep familiarity with modern laboratory and computational techniques.
- Sound judgment around scientific safety and responsible handling of dual-use information.
Preferred
- Based in Denmark or the wider Western Europe region.
- Expertise in radiochemistry, nuclear chemistry, energetic materials, or radiation physics.
- Depth in a specific subfield like organic or inorganic synthesis, molecular biology, microbiology, virology, or genetics.
- Experience with chemical safety and security, biosafety and biosecurity, or hazardous-materials handling.
- Experience reviewing, grading, or red-teaming technical content.
