We are seeking a contract writer to develop a Christ-centered book that helps men explore their identity in Christ, understand God’s calling, and live purposefully in family, work, and community. This project should combine personal stories with theological depth with practical guidance that resonates with real-life challenges. The strongest proposals will clearly define the reader and show how the book helps men navigate cultural pressures, form godly character, and embrace their God-given identity and purpose.

Scope of Work

• Research, outline, and write a full-length manuscript (approximately 45,000–75,000 words)
• Collaborate closely with the editorial team through multiple rounds of revision
• Ensure theological alignment with ’s doctrinal commitment

Compensation is determined based on project scope and complexity.

Additional Information

Contractors are engaged based on the needs of specific projects and are not guaranteed ongoing or full-time work. Participation in meetings, workshops, or collaborative sessions may be requested depending on the project timeline.

Proposal Requirements

Please submit all materials inasingle PDF(not a Word Doc or Google Doc) that includes:

1. Title and Subtitle2. Controlling Idea (1–2 sentences)3. One-Paragraph Summary

Provide a concise overview of the book’s purpose, scope, structure, and tone.

4. Target Audience Description (One of the Most Important Sections)Who this book is specifically for

• Their stage or season of life
• The particular struggles, questions, or longings they are experiencing
• Why this book matters to them now
• Tip: Specificity is essential. Broad descriptions such as “Christian women” or “believers” are not sufficient.

5. Comparable Titles (2–3 from the Past 5 Years)
Identify 2–3 comparable books published within the last five years and explain:

• How your book overlaps with each one
• How it is meaningfully distinct in approach, audience, tone, or theological emphasis

6. Author Bio

Explain what uniquely qualifies you to write this book, including:

• Education
• Ministry, counseling, academic, or professional experience
• Subject-matter expertise
• Lived experience relevant to the topic (if appropriate)
• Previous publishing or writing experience

7. Detailed Chapter Outline

Provide a working table of contents that includes:

• Chapter titles
• The main idea of each chapter and how it supports the controlling idea of the book

8. Front and Back Matter (Optional)

Describe any supplemental materials (e.g., photography, illustrations, reflection questions, discussion guides, recommended resources, liturgies, appendices, etc.).

9. Timeline and Specifications

Include:

• Current manuscript status (idea stage, in progress, complete, etc.)
• Estimated total word count (typically 45,000–75,000 words)
• Anticipated manuscript delivery date

10. Other Book Ideas (Optional)

If you have additional book concepts that may be a fit for , please include a brief description of each idea (1–3 sentences per concept). While these ideas will not be considered part of the current proposal, they may be considered for future publishing opportunities.
