---Position Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Peer Support Specialists (CPSS) who are established in their own mental health or substance use recovery. This role provides recovery-based peer support, guidance, and encouragement to clients, helping them build independence, social connections, and successful participation in their communities.

---Key Responsibilities

• Provide peer support grounded in personal recovery experience.
• Empower clients with self-help strategies and coping tools.
• Assist clients with referrals to housing, social services, and community resources.
• Help clients build social skills and confidence for community engagement.
• Support clients in achieving personal goals and independence.

---Qualifications

• North Carolina Peer Support Certification (NC CPSS) required prior to hire.
• Minimum of 2 years in personal recovery from mental health or substance use challenges.

· High School Diploma or GED required.

• Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal vehicle.
• Access to a smartphone, laptop, etc. for communication and documentation purposes.
