POSITION SUMMARY

As an Account Manager at , you will own the relationship with a portfolio of family law firms at the owner and managing partner level. You will lead the strategic conversation, build and maintain the plan each firm is working from, and connect their business objectives to the work our marketing team delivers. Project managers handle delivery and specialists execute the channels, which leaves you free to stay in the conversation that matters most to the client.

We are looking for an experienced account leader with genuine commercial instincts. Someone comfortable discussing revenue, pricing, and capacity with a business owner, and confident enough to challenge a plan that does not hold up under scrutiny. Providing that perspective is the substance of this role.

The position is scoped to a single practice area for a reason. Working across a dozen family law firms at once, you will begin to recognize the same intake breakdowns, the same gaps between consultation and signed fee, and the same capacity ceilings surfacing again and again. That accumulated pattern recognition is what gives your recommendations weight in the room.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Own the relationship with a portfolio of family law firms, serving as the primary strategic contact for owners and managing partners.
• Lead alignment calls and quarterly business reviews with decision makers, establishing clear agreement on goals, roles, timeline, and budget for the quarter ahead.
• Build and maintain a strategic roadmap for each client, revisiting it quarterly so the plan reflects where the firm is now rather than where it was when the engagement began.
• Track performance across the full client acquisition path, from initial lead through qualified lead, consultation, signed client, and funded agreement.
• Extend the conversation beyond marketing into pricing, intake, operations, capacity, and hiring, where the real constraints on a firm's growth usually sit.
• Identify growth opportunities and early signals of churn, raising both internally well before they surface with the client.
• Review and approve every client-facing deliverable, making sure the work reflects the firm's goals and the context you hold on the relationship.
• Maintain a consistent communication rhythm of a weekly written update, a monthly pacing call, and a quarterly business review with firm leadership.
• Partner with project managers and channel specialists, giving them the business context they need to do their work well
• Manage your portfolio as a whole, making deliberate decisions about where your time produces the most value across the book.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

• 5+ years in account leadership, consulting, or professional services, preferably in an agency or advisory environment.
• Significant experience owning senior client relationships, with a track record of working directly with business owners and executive decision makers.
• Commercial fluency across revenue, pricing, margin, and expansion, and the comfort to discuss all of it candidly with a client.
• Demonstrated ability to build plans that connect agency work to business outcomes, with defined timelines and milestones attached.
• Strong facilitation skills and the judgment to guide a client toward a decision rather than waiting to be handed one
• The ability to raise a difficult subject, whether an unrealistic goal or a number the client cannot produce, without damaging the relationship.
• Experience recognizing early signals of client dissatisfaction and acting on them before they escalate.
• Business experience outside of marketing, whether client-side, in a general management or P&L role, or as an owner.
• Genuine curiosity about how professional services firms operate: how they price, staff, sell, and scale.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8-5 CST

Work Location: Remote-US
